The contact uses a replaceable lithium battery that lasts up to five years under normal usage and comes with a standard flush-mount and a flanged top.

DOOR & WINDOW SENSOR

Two-axis sensing and wireless technology make installation simple, even in tight spaces. The door/window sensor also features an optimized internal antenna design to increase range performance. Designed to monitor doors, windows, cabinets or virtually anything that opens, these sensors are compatible with new and existing GE Security systems.

GARAGE DOOR SENSOR

The GE DesignLine Garage Door Sensor extends intrusion protection to garage structures, enabling users to regularly monitor the door’s opening for complete home security. Once armed, if the garage door opens to a 45-degree angle, the sensor goes into an alarm condition which can turn on the siren and automatically call the central monitoring station. Under normal use, the sensor will transmit an open and close signal to the panel each time the garage door is opened or closed.

GLASSBREAK SENSOR

These sensors detect the frequencies of breaking glass. They are very effective at protecting several windows in common areas of the home. They are also the first choice of many people who have large pets because glass breaks are not set off by motion.

MOTION SENSOR

These sensors detect the movement of anything 2-3 feet off the ground and over 40 pounds. This allows for small pets to be inside the home while protecting perimeter windows simultaneously. Statistically, during a home invasion, intruders cross the home five times. So although motion detectors may not cover every square inch of a home, they create a “trap-zone”, preventing any would-be intruder from accessing valuables.
